Admission to B.Tech. Programme for General Seat (Beside
Management Quota) is through competitive entrance SEE-UP seat exam,
conducted by G.B.Technical University,Lucknow.
a. Admission to B.Tech. First Year in 1st
semester will be made as per the rules prescribed by the Academic Council of the
Eligibility for Admission
Examination through entrance:
Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech Programme must have passed 10+2(or
equivalent) examination from a recognized Board University with Mathematics at
10+2 level as a subject.
The students must have a minimum of 50% marks.
b. Admission to B.Tech First year through
Admission in the management Quota will be done directly by the institute. The
candidate must have secured 60% marks in aggregate as well as in PCM group.
The 4 years curriculum has been divided into 8
semester and shall include lectures, Tutorials, practicals, seminars and
projects etc, in addition to industrial training & educational tours etc.
Change of Branch
Change of Branch may be allowed against the vacant Seats in first year after the
last date of admission to B.Tech 1st Semester on the basis of merit of entrance
examination on vacant seats.
Fee Rules In Current academic session.
The fee is payable through pay order or through Demand Draft in favour of
‘SSVIT’ payable at Bareilly.
The fee once paid is non refundable or adjustable in any manner. The concerned
university may make any alteration in the fee structure which has to be abided
by the students.

Seats in Management Quota application form along with the information brochure
are available from the office of the institute on cash payment of Rs. 650/- of through post by sending a Demand Draft of
Rs. 700 in favour of SSVIT

Today, most of the banks are offering education loan to students on attractive
terms, Student seeking admission in "SSVIT", for
their academic prospects, loan facility will be made available through Punjab
National Bank on their request.
Appreciation & Recognition of Merit.
Scholarships are awarded in recognition of achievement in areas. Merits must be
duly honored with proper recognition in a respected manner. Our endeavor to
encourage students for scholarly attainment & excellence in examination. This
creates a healthy competition among the students.
Following prizes for rewarding such student is devised by the management in the
interest to encourage the scholars. Student seeking admission to SSVIT obtaining
more then 90% marks will be given a prize of 25000 & those getting 85% or more
but less than 90% shall be eligible for a prize of Rs.15000/- Student getting
ranks in the semester end examination will get a prize of
Rs. 51000/- for 1st rank
Rs. 41000/- for 2nd rank
Rs. 31000/- for 3 rd rank
Rules for Academic
1. It is compulsory for each and every student to attend all lectures, tutorials
and practicals. While stipulating 100% attendance, the institute makes provision
for a minimum 75% attendance to become eligible to appear at the Sessional tests
and End Semester theory and praticals examinations.
2. Any student absenting for two consecutive lectures/tutorials/practical
sessions in any one or more subjects will be suo motto debarred from attending
subsequent lectures/ tutorials/ practical or any other academic / co-curricular
activity. To be entitled to attend again, a student, accompanied by his / her
parents, has to meet and obtain written permission from the HOD/ Director.
3.Any student remaining absent for more than 7 days without prior written
permission of the HOD/Director is liable to be removed from the institute and
his /her name may be struck off the rolls.
4. Every student must compulsorily appear in all the tests, complete all
assignments, including tutorials and project work etc, given by faculty within
the time period specified. Student should bear in mind that internal assessment
marks are partly based on their performance in these tests.
5. Evaluation of performance in tests, tutorials, assignments and projects work
as well as attendance record shall be made by faculty for the purpose of award
of continuous and sessional marks. Such marks awarded by the faculty would be
final and binding and no complaints in this regard shall be entertained.
6. Late entry into and mid/early departure from classroom, lab, etc. are
7. All students must be inside the lecture halls/ laboratories during lecture
hours and lab sessions. Roaming in the corridors, the cafeteria or staying back
in hostel rooms or any other part of the campus during lectures / tutorials /
practical amount to serious violation of academic code of conduct. on compliance
may result in disciplinary action.
Rules for General Discipline
Some of these include
Wishing greeting the Chairman, the Director, Deans, Head of the Departments,
faculty members, the Registrar, the librarian, other officers of the
institutions with due respect for them.
Be courteous and polite in dealing with all staff and employees.
Silence and / or speaking in a soft voice in and around the library,
laboratories, offices of the Director, the Deans, senior office faculty rooms
and corridors of academic buildings.
It must be noted that shouting, talking in a loud voice or in choice using
indecent, abusive and discourteous language any where within the institution
premises are considered serious acts of indiscipline and shall invite panel

They are forbidden to issue any public or press statement, sending letters to
editors. Government, public servants or not without prior permission and
approval of the Director.
Student must wear the prescribed uniform within the campus.
